We were asked to design a cushion landscape for 300 participants during an evening "sleeping concert," and produced a 300 m² reclining surface modelled on the island of Gotland. The reference draws on the Swedish shorthand that "everyone fits there." The surface reinterprets geological and urban features (raukar, lakes, Visby, stone settings) as a topography you can lie down on. Attendance ended up at 600, doubling the density and turning the installation into a real-time experiment in proximity, comfort, and collective spatial behaviour.
