Exhibition / Full-Scale Prototypes
Location: Arkitekturmuseet (Stockholm)
Client: Arkitekturmuseet
Team: Anders Johansson, Erik Wingquist
For the exhibition 48h, Testbedstudio produced a set of full-scale prototypes that explored alternative ways of exhibiting architecture and staging social space. Contributions included a stepped seating pyramid crowned by a date palm, a light fabric pavilion (3 by 4 by 5 metres), and a 21-metre-long seating ring previously developed for the Venice Biennale. We also co-developed a talk and lecture programme with invited guests from neighbouring fields, extending the exhibition into a live forum.
