A pre-study investigating how a joint city-building triennial for Gothenburg, Malmö, and Stockholm could be structured—its focus, governance, and next steps. The work mapped possible collaboration models across municipalities and cultural actors and explored how to frame “stadsbyggnad” as a public topic without oversimplification. A key emphasis was accessibility: developing formats that could translate complex planning and urban design questions into engaging public programming, while still supporting professional depth and long-term institutional relevance.
