Testbedstudio designed and facilitated an idea workshop to support local development work aimed at increasing attractiveness for visitors, residents, and jobs. We began with references and cases, then helped participants identify focus areas and develop project ideas in smaller groups explicitly shifting from “problems” to “goals and solutions.” Outcomes were structured in three tiers: quick wins (clean-up and maintenance), activity-based initiatives (events and programmes), and built interventions (streets, places, buildings) requiring longer planning, anchoring, and financing.
