Commissioned to complement an existing skate facility, we developed a multi-activity public artwork through dialogue with local youth. The intervention was organized around a 1,024 m² “carpet” of yellow road paint, like a picnic blanket, supporting skate ramps, a pyramid-shaped seating mound, and a “music worm” providing power for speakers and electronics. The project expanded the skatepark into a flexible social field, designed for lingering, gathering, and cross-programmed everyday use.
